Boe Boe

Friends call me Bo, which is short for Boston.... I got the name while tending Bar in San Fransisco, after getting out of the service in 1983.... After doing ten years and getting out I thought I'd try tattooing for a profession, I had been experimenting with it for some years, but never gave it much thought to try it full time, primarily because I never thought I was gonna get out of the military... Well like everything else in life, things do change, and so they did. To be honest with you, I slung a lot of ink of some of my customers while tending bar, I did that for a couple of years until I compiled enough of a portfolio that a local shop would give me a chance. Mind you, 20 years ago it was a little harder getting ones foot in the door, especially if you didn't know anyone in the business, and being nearly 30 years young, well lets say I had my fair share of doors slammed in my face... Any how, I got my first spot @ "Above all Tattooing" in Sacramento ca. A year later I opened my own shop. Some years later I migrate to the Seattle area and opened a shop in downtown Olympia, called Tat2times Studio... I had that place about 10 years and have recently sold that shop... I moved to Fl. about 3 years ago... I have another shop in Palm Bay fl. It to is called Tat2times inc. I've had that place about 3 years now.

Jesse

Jesse

My name is Jesse Rowe; I'm 27 years old. I moved to Florida about a year ago from Richmond, VA. I started at my uncle's shop East End Derma graphics. I tattooed there for 7 years. I enjoy doing all types of tattoos. I like doing black & gray more than anything else. I found out I could draw through the military. After high school I went to the Marine Corp. and got caught drawing in class in boot camp, & instead of being run to death, I became the artist recruit. Once my uncle found out he asked if I wanted to start an apprenticeship. An I thought about it for a second, and I've been tattooing ever since. Tattooing takes over your life, and there is no job I would rather have.

Mike Couture's my name and Id like to tattoo you. In the two years I've been apprenticing under Boe and Jesse, I'd definitely say that I've made the most of my experience .Although i was able to apprentice,i still had a construction job with my father for the first half year and then worked at the local brewery(now Florida beer co.)for the remaining term of my apprenticeship. Basically I worked in the day and scrubbed tubes at night for around a year and a half. When i finally scrounged up enough gear to tattoo my friends, I had already found my place in this industry(the bottom).Everyone I tattooed was happy and I have learned so much i got a sweet job offer,Tattoo artist. I quit my day job and never looked back. Thanks to everyone that helped me get where i am going, you did a great job! "peace" -Mike Couture
